The Brookstone Landscaping Committee has been tasked with assembly of a Master Design for the enhancement of the Association common areas.

Beginning this Wednesday, June 15, our landscaping company will be installing sod in the devil strip along Fryar Creek. The installation will extend from Park York Lane to Jenks Carpenter Road. The work should be completed by Friday. June 17.

This installation is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the common areas of the Brookstone Community. The irrigation system along Fryar Creek has not functioned for some time. An assessment last year indicated that repairing it would not be cost effective. Bermuda, a warm season grass that is more drought resistant than fescue, will be installed along Fryar Creek. The result should be an enhanced appearance along one of the main thoroughfares of our community.

Bermuda sod can take between 30 and 60 days to fully establish. Jones Landscaping will be watering the sod as needed until established. Please help us to protect this investment by refraining from the walking of dogs in this area during the establishment period.
